Don’t Blame The Messenger

According to the co-founder of Blameless, Lyon Wong, nobody likes being blamed for a problem they didn’t create, but it’s worse being blamed for a problem because you were the one to identify it. Being singled out in a large team and blamed for anything isn’t necessarily the motivator some managers believe. In fact, it often has the opposite effect. Blameless removes these issues through AI-driven incident resolution, blameless postmortems, SLOs/Error Budgets, and reliability insights reports and dashboards, enabling businesses to optimize reliability and innovation to allow teams to get back up quickly; thus,  improving the incident response process for SRE and DevOps teams.

Check out this episode of InsideAnalysis as Eric Kavanagh and Bloor Group Data Scientist, Evren Cakir discuss AI-driven incident resolution with Blameless co-founder Lyon Wong.
